Curiously peeking his head in, he saw someone huddled in a corner, bundled up. Flowery vines began to grow sporadically from your wrists and intertwine through your hair, as suspected of someone who bore the moniker of a floral fae.
"Um, are you okay, Miss Flower Fairy?" the dragon asked, sitting beside you.
"H-Huh? Oh, I..." Haphazardly wiping your tears, you muttered, "Just homesick is all. This is the longest I've been away from home, so let's just say I'm going through the motions," while pulling up your cloak. Before relenting with a pout. "But you don't have to keep calling me 'flower fairy'. I have a name, you know..."
"Ack, my apologies! It's just that you really do remind me of my friends back where I'm from..." Durin awkwardly laughed, sheepishly scratching the back of his head. "But if I can be of any help..." Ever so subtly, one of his wings went to embrace you. "...I can keep you company for a little while. I-If you don't mind, that is..."

He looked up at Wanderer, confusion warring with the lingering panic. "People have red blood. I've seen it. Even Albedo has red blood. Why is yours.. different?"
Wanderer closed his eyes for a moment. The question was a minefield. Because I’m not people. Because I was built, not born. The only thing you could think of right now, is that your little body feels numb and floaty. And, the last thing you saw would be a human picking you up and examine your body.
'Is this... The end...?'
Then, everything goes dark... And silent...

"Big brother Durin! Isn't this fishy so pretty!? It looks like a water fairy fish from mommy's book!" As the little girl excitedly swings the unconscious little fish in her palm.
"Fairy fishy, from now on, Klee will be your partner! Big brother Durin, let's take fairy fishy back!" Then, she turns and faces the other boy who's been watching with a concerned expression on his face.
"Klee, I-I think that fish is-"
The little girl puts the tiny fish into a tiny bottle she bring from the Favonious Knight's headquarters and run passed him with a big grin on her small face.
"Nevermind..." The boy follows from behind with a defeated expression plastered on his face. -

The letter wasn't the best, nor was the painting included, the colours were off on their shades, details were forgotten and ignored, and nothing about it would put it into a museum, but everything about it would leave a memory on Wanderer's long bygone heart.
TLDR/OR; Durin sends a letter to Wanderer after becoming human! And Nahida asks Wanderer if she can go with him to see that little dragon.

Hihi yet another one shot, 3rd one I've posted this week.
This one is a Scara&Durin comfort fic I wrote based on a couple prompt ideas from my friends Ali and Whiff on the Venti Mains Discord server, so hopefully everyone enjoys.
(Ignore the fact it says mini durin&scaramouche, this is human durin stuff.)
Durin sleeps whilst visiting Scara in Sumeru, and it turns into a nightmare as Durin of Dragonspine re-appears in his dreams and subjects him to a little psychological torment in order to try get what he believes to be his heart back. Will he succeed? Who knows? Well I do, but you will too once you've read this.
