Sometimes your boyfriend realizes he's gay instead of "probably, maybe bi" when you're in your about to start your junior year of college together, and that's really not even a problem because at a certain point your relationship felt more like just being best friends who kissed slightly more often, and you even stay best friends, and you love your ex-boyfriend's boyfriend even (you even have an inside joke with each other that your ex is just horny for redheads). It's so fine, you're actually already expecting to be maid of honor in his wedding whenever that happens.
Life happens, but life was good if you were Barbara Gordon. Everything was fine.

Following the ill-fated holiday in Broadchurch, Zee finally engages a therapist to help her work through the lingering trauma of her time with Kilgrave. In particular, she hopes to rebuild the fulfilling sexual relationships she had before, but that will take time and effort, and her new therapist Doctor Scott encourages her to begin from the foundations to build upwards; going back to the start and viewing her relationships through the new perspective she has now, rather than simply yearning for what she once had. Step by step, she finds her way back, proving a handful for her therapist along the way.
Zee is not the only one impacted by the trauma of interactions with the mind-controlling doppelganger though, and her friends and partners find themselves exploring new angles in their relationships with each other too, with fresh dynamics emerging, and lots of new experiences.
Ultimately, love and friendship is what holds them all together. And as they celebrate Aziraphale's birthday, Christmas, and later Zee's birthday, there is enough fun, romance, and joy to heal them all.
Lots of fluff and smut, a dash of angst, and typical Who Omens shenanigans!
