“Andy Sachs ma’am.” Andy said really selling it with that good old midwestern charm.
“No.” Miranda said as she tossed her resume behind her.
“No? I’m more than qualified for the position. How hard can it be to fetch you your coffee and schedule things.” Andy huffed.
“No, as in I have an extremely hard time believing any half sane mother would name their beautiful baby girl Andy.” Miranda said giving Andy déjà vu.
“My birth name is Andrea. But I go by Andy.” Andy explained, and a flicker of something strangely familiar flashed in Miranda’s eyes before she schooled her face into one of disinterest.

Truth and measure has a contender for my no 1 fav mirandy fic spot??? Unbelievable. But I do believe it cause I just read this beautiful piece of work and I have absolutely no words. SPEECHLESS. This piece was just flawless from start to finish. Absolute masterpiece!!!!!!!
I love how their attraction to one another was apparent from the first chapter. (" you'll ruin me" "And you'll let me") ("I should go" "But you won't") meltssssss. From then what transpired was such a beautiful relationship to read from Miranda having walls the size of Jericho to Andy slowly breaking down those walls. Their open emotional conversations, the angst (never lasted long which I loved) and even the angst was so beautifully written it was a joy to indulge in. Their flirting, banter, love. Being each others safe space. It took so much for their relationship to get where it did at the end but my oh my what a beautiful journey. Miranda went through so much with her past and hurt and tried to push Andy away but Andy stayed and they worked through it all. Never getting over this ride.
