Archons forbid something terrible has happened, because right now all he can think about were those last few messages sent over Discord- and those last few messages wouldn’t have been a problem if Fischl came to school today.
But she didn’t. And that’s the problem! Not his scraped knee or the test he failed, not even the way Razor has been ignoring his messages all day- no. It’s Fischl. Always Fischl. Mentioning Fischl, as if she hasn’t been on his mind this entire time, she’s coming into view! Her bow bouncing with every step, her head higher than usual- and in a awfully pretty skirt that absolutely warms Bennett’s heart. Or maybe it was his vision. He’s not sure, but he is sure that when Fischl tips her head back and grins at him that everything went well.
