Summary
AU - sequel to 'Broken Fragments'
Long ago, a dragon made a pilgrimage across the great ocean to Pantala, in the hopes of finding one last miracle that could rewrite the threads of time and change the fate of all. That was two thousand years ago, and now a determined Moonwatcher is following in her footsteps, searching for a lost friend in this new and strange world.
But she will uncover more than she bargained for. As she discovers new tribes of dragons living in strange cities where there are eyes everywhere, dragons lay in chains and the walls themselves seem to hide terrible secrets that yearn to kill her, to hunt her, to feed on her... With few allies and even fewer friends, Moon must go to the ends of the earth to uncover the secrets that have long since been buried and forgotten. She must be willing to do whatever it takes if she is to save the world from an evil not even the fearsome Darkstalker is prepared to face. And above all she must finally confront the truth of her past life and face its dire consequences...
