Summary
Lance fretted over Keith, adjusting the instant hood, while the black paladin blinked rapidly in relief at the provided shade.
It felt a little odd for Pidge. To see them like this.
Watching them argue was becoming a common thing that Pidge had gotten accustomed to ever since those two became co-leaders. Watching them do this, however, was something that the green paladin felt like she needed more time to get used to. (It reminded her a lot of times when her mother would try to persuade her father to remain in space for too long or to just abandon space altogether because she's worried.)
or the team was still stranded in space after defeating Lotor, and they kept on ‘dreaming’. Pidge ‘woke up’ one day to the familiar sight of an alien-beach.

Summary
Pidge’s brooding was interrupted, however, when she heard the sound of Lance’s jovial laughter along with water splashing, followed by Hunk’s supportive laugh and Keith’s unusually disgruntled shout.
“Lance! Stop splashing water at me!”
“Oh, don’t be a baby, mullet!”
“The only baby around here, is you - why are you so excited about being at the beach anyway?!”
“Keith, you insensitive moron! Have you forgotten that it’s been months since we left Earth?!
Of course I’ll miss the beach!”
At least some people were enjoying their temporary entrapment here.
or the team was stranded on a deserted yet oddly beach-like planet because the castle malfunctioned. (At least they’re allowed a moment to breathe.)

It was really obvious. Really obvious. Keith and Lance were clearly in a secret relationship and just hadn't worked up the nerve to tell the rest of the team yet. Anyone should be able to see that. So then why was Shiro so surprised when they accidentally got married on an alien planet? And why did Pidge feel like they were losing their mind?
Or, how Pidge Holt realized their teammates were dating before the teammate themselves did (they did the math and everything!), spilled it to the entire team while extremely confused, and caused a relationship to bloom.

Summary
On their way to deliver Lotor to Zarkon in exchange for Commander Holt, a few blunt discussions happen among the people in the shuttle, which in turn stir up recent memories.
Pidge, distrustful of Lotor, and eager to get her dad back, reflects on their previous convos, while Shiro is pondering on his risky decision to give Lotor the Black Bayard.
Matt and Lotor have some silent eye to eye moments that reveal a bit about each of them.
This is a character study, as well as a "what if" short story in regards to Lotor's ability to handle the Black Bayard. -

Pidge had quickly come to learn that when Allura debriefs them on an upcoming mission and says, “there’s nothing to worry about, it’s a simple mission,” it’s anything but that. Simple must mean something different to Alteans, because flying through a fleet of Galra ships all trying to kill her is anything but “simple.” Sure, she had gotten a better feel for flying Green and was definitely better a maneuvering than she was at the beginning, but that still didn’t make her feel any better when she was constantly being shot at.
Or, Pidge and Keith get stranded on a planet and learn a little more about each other.

Or alternatively, when doubt is cast on the Paladins” worth and capabilities to be the Paladins of Voltron, the team makes it their mission to prove them wrong. They are warriors, heroes and it is about time the world recognized them as such.
