Summary
His love stood before him, bathed in moonlight like some ethereal being of pure beauty. He wanted to reach out and take his hand in his own... He wanted to draw him close and pull him into a passionate kiss...
Yet the same person he loved so much, one he wanted to hold so badly, showed him no mercy.
A kick to Demian’s abdomen brought him down, and in one fell swoop, Sinclair pinned him down, stepping his foot on top of his chest, putting his weight on him. And just as the blade was about to pierce the delicate skin of Demian’s neck, Sinclair suddenly stopped. Barely an inch away, the tip of the jikdo stopping before it could cause a fatal wound.
And they just... stayed like this for a second. Staring into each other’s eyes.
Both of them were breathing heavily, drenched in sweat, but neither of them had said a word since then.
Until finally, finally, Sinclair spoke up, breaking the silence between them. His voice was firm and cold.
“I could take your life right now.”
