Summary
Night City doesn’t care if you live, only that you keep paying for the privilege.
Sera Starling and Sandra Dearing know that better than most. Orphaned, unaugmented, and scraping by, they survive on dangerous jobs, cheap meals, and the bond they’ve built since childhood.
Sera is reckless and fiercely protective, always throwing herself into the fire first. Sandra is careful and perceptive, the one who stitches wounds and keeps them grounded when the city tries to pull them under.
Between bruised nights and stolen moments of warmth, they build something fragile, a love that exists not in spite of Night City, but in defiance of it.
As their world expands and their path leads them to the Aldecaldos, they must decide whether survival alone is enough, or if they’re brave enough to choose something better together.
