Summary
Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell.
Centuries later, a human named Chara released and freed the monsters with the help of the Prince, named Asriel Dreemur (The GlitchTale Route). After the events of killing the entity; Bête Noire, the humans and monsters are finally living together in peace and harmony.It’s been officially 70 years ever since the monsters have been freed from the underground. Humans and Monsters have been living together in harmony. Soul power and superpowers is becoming the new norm, while also humanoid hybrids are becoming more of a new concept in this modern era, albeit- not that accepted in society.
However, the two races (three if you count the hybrids) has now become very tense with each other, humans have been reported for being racist and have been showing discrimination and prejudice towards the monsters, and them same goes for the humans. It doesn't help when both races have supernatural and soul powers. How will our protagonists will handle the cruel world now?Series

The inspiration for this fan fic besides the original work is each and every one of the stories posted in AO3 about Ascendance of a bookworm and the time and effort of the authors spend to provide us lessor mortals with entertainment. While I love many stories some that ended properly and others still on going at a good pace this fan fic will strive to pick up on some of the weaves that were cut short or have gone astray. I do not mean any disrespect to the original authors of the fan fic’s I intend to borrow from, I simply need closure or at least a FIX, to scratch that one more chapter itch. I will try and make it super obvious when referencing a fan fic and will add the name in the bottom notes. If I miss any, please let me know I don’t want credit I just need to get everything out of my head and hope others can relate.
