“Hi, nice to meet you. Taehyung, right? I’m Jimin, I’ll be grooming Yeontan today.”
Taehyung stands there with his mouth hanging open for several seconds because Tannie’s groomer is stupidly good looking. Like punch to the gut attractive because Taehyung feels like he got the wind knocked out of him.
“This is the little guy, I assume?” Jimin asks slowly, as if he’s aware Taehyung is not okay.
“Uh, yeah,” Taehyung says, shaken from his stupor. “You can call him Tannie if you want. That’s what I call him most of the time.”
“Hello there, Tannie! Aren’t you just a handsome ball of fluff?” Jimin coos, getting down on the floor to greet Yeontan. Tannie sniffs him then raises up onto his hind legs to lick Jimin’s nose.

i absolutely adore the fuck out of this story. i was squealing all the way through. i clicked this thinking it would be a sweet oneshot of dog groomer!jimin and yeontan’s dad!tae but oh my god to see their relationship blossom from shy soft bois to official bfs to lost pet scares to moving in together to medical emergencies to first fights to getting married?? ive been SO spoiled! this is going under my list of comfort fics. you’ve written vmin in such a tender and loving way. and tae’s growth from past relationship trauma to finding comfort and love in jimin was so touching and sweet to read. they’re so darn CUTE what the hell! thanks for sharing this w us, tracksdifferent <3
