Summary
Post-S.O.S. Météores. February, 1961. An obscure artefact is reported missing from the British Museum, and Francis Blake receives an unexpected inheritance. But as Blake begins digging into his past and Mortimer tries to solve a mystery, both will discover that some branches of family trees spring from very, very twisted roots indeed.
A dark little exploration in honour of Spooky Season, taking a generous dose of inspiration from the Hammer House of Horror series, and my favourite Vincent Price movie, The Haunted Palace.
