It’s 1514 and Scotland is reeling from the death of King James IV in the Battle of Flodden against The English. His death in battle along with thousands of others, including many nobles and clergymen, has thrown the realm into chaos. His only son, James V, is the new King of Scotland. His English mother, Queen Margaret Tudor is his Regent, but her powers are limited and her grasp is tenuous. The Regency Council has the most power, but fight amongst themselves. Various other nobles seek political influence using both honorable and unscrupulous methods. Around every corner is feuding, plotting, and violence and throughout it all England is a looming threat. The unstable nation could rupture at any time.

As soon as Catherine of Aragon set foot in England to meet her future husband she expected something more from the letters she had been exchanging with him. Instead of a valiant warrior or a poetic prince Catherine was... let down by the sight of the underwhelming prince of wales, Arthur, that she was to call husband.
England only begins to peak her interest when she finds out that Arthur's brother, the Duke of York, Henry Tudor or Harry as he prefers to be called, was actually the one who sent those letters.
But of course that isn't all England has to offer Catherine. Jasper Fitzroy, bastard son of King Henry VII, felt made by God to test Catherine's self control. She can't help but be allured and tempted into thinking such scandalous things about him.
When Arthur is taken by the sweat Catherine has two choices to make; become the future Queen of England by marring Harry or explore deeper into something more with Jasper.

Alice Howard fucked up.
She fucked up big time.
When Alice had heard that her father wanted her to seduce the grieving king, Henry VII, she acted impulsively to make sure that didn't happen.
Her Solution: having her friend ruin her. But there was one crucial fact that she hadn't thought about when going through with it. Her friend in question; The Prince Henry Tudor (or Harry as she so affectionately called him).
How could she have done this? Ask that of Harry when she didn't even know if he actually wanted it or if he only took pity of her. Why did she feel grateful about it? And what else was she feeling after crossing this line between friends and something completely different and new?
Not to mention, those weren't the only issues. She was a lady of good standing who had to keep her virtue intact; the granddaughter to the 2nd Duke of Norfolk, and the daughter to the future 3rd Duke of Norfolk. not only that but she was half York, daughter of Anne of York (fifth daughter of Edward IV and Elizabeth woodvile, younger sister of Elizabeth of York.)
She had absolutely no idea how she would handle it, but that was a problem for future Alice, in the morning.
