In a fortuitous turn of events, both Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander are traded to the New York's Admirals. Cue Scott having to handle their shared chaos and his own repressed desires. The more boundaries he draws, the more he ends up crossing, to the point of questioning his own morals, as well as his sanity. As it turns out, he might be the man he suspected all along. The same cannot be said for Shane and Ilya.

Ok, so hear me out:
A freak accident (don't blame me on how bad the accident idea is I'm tired I just needed the excuse) splits Shane into two bodies, one a bit bolder, and original Shane is freaking out so he calls Ilya because of course he does and Ilya comes over and he wants to have sex with both at the same time so he does.The timeline is somewhere after the cottage, but not too long, and Ilya is still playing for Boston, and they're not out yet. (I'm sorry I haven't read the books yet)
It might be slightly inspired by a different fandom who is obsessed with this one character having two versions of him exist at the same time for sexy reasons (yes, 911 fans I'm looking at you, iykyk.)

Ilya stares down at the box in his hands.
Inside the small black box lies a pair of nipple clamps. Shane had painstakingly researched the best pair and settled on these: a small set of tweezer-style clamps with an attachable chain and a small screw for adjusting pressure. Each clamp has little bells dangling on the end that add just a tiny bit of weight and will make a pretty noise when Ilya moves.
There had been so many options that Shane was overwhelmed at first — some of them even vibrate! — but these ones are well-reviewed and recommended for beginners.
Shane hovers nervously around Ilya, waiting for him to say something, anything. Does he like them? Is he scared? Is he not as into this idea as Shane?
Finally, Ilya lets out a disbelieving chuckle. “You weren’t kidding about clamps.”
