Summary
D’Artagnan was very noble of heart and truly believed that whoever his soulmate was would be as well. The Duke of Buckingham however had never planned on loving his soulmate, and was determined to get this war going one way or another. Everything changes when Buckingham sees just who D’Artagnan is to him, and immediately wants to answer the question of which means more to his heart, the man who was crafted into this world just for him, body and soul, or a war, the one thing he has been dedicated to starting for more years than he can count.
Just a little soulmates au that takes place during the movie but instead of D’Artagnan blowing Buckingham up with a canon he allowed Buckingham to blow his insides up instead-
