Katrina is just an artist living with her brother, when he isn't in college, and works part-time as a barista for her friend's cafe. She makes coffee art for patrons which leads her to meet a tall goofy skeleton and his friends, along with his pun-loving brother.

But, how did it come to all of this? At one time, the world had been peaceful and welcoming. Monsters had returned to the Surface and for a time, they had begun to settle and the world was accepting. It spread as fast as a virus creating a cultist mindset as events piled up in the world of both monsters and humans. Fear left souls open to suggestion and it allowed the disease to settle...

The only haven left in this world, as far as you know, is the small village of Mountmend at the base of Mt. Ebott. It is the only town with a mixed population and connections to the monsters of Mt. Ebott. As the sole doctor of the town, you've dedicated your life to keep both monsters and humans safe in the face of the approaching war. I made this series of sort of one-shots because I tend to think of 'what could happen differently' as I'm reading other works and just because I wanted a way to insert a character into random situations I thought of.

Summary
The city of Daiport has many things to brag about. It's ancient history, the beautiful mountain ranges and of course, the glistening ocean beaches that hug a good portion of the city's outskirts.
It's also the home of the monsters that emerged from deep within Mount Ebott.
You, having left your strict family upbringing to chase after your love for the ocean and a dream to become a professional dance choreographer, find yourself in a city quite unlike any other. But life continues much as it always has since you moved here. You work in the local surf shop, train for the biggest dance competition of your life, and spend all of your free time in the water. That is, until a chance encounter leads you to meet a monster who turns up the heat in your life.
As for said monster? He's never met a human with hair as bright as his flames. He finds himself drawn to you for reasons he can't fully understand. So the question you both have to wonder is:
