Summary
‘Aizawa is going to kill me.’ Was his only thought as he fumbled around for his new phone and dialled his coworkers number. “Midoriya, are you aware that it is 1 am?” Aizawa immediately said, causing a nervous chuckle to escape his mouth.
“Yeah.. uh, so sorry to call at this time but.. I seem to have gotten myself in a bit of a… situation.” When the man on the other end doesn’t reply they continue after a long inhale, “I… have lost Todoroki.”
There’s a beat of silence on the other end, and Izuku then hears the deep exhale and inhale, “you WHAT? Where are you, I'm coming over right now.”
Another nervous laugh, much more forced as the sky grows darker and darker by the second and he starts regretting not wearing gloves, “…Churchill… Manitoba.”
“Manitoba. Like- Canada?”
“Yes.”
“YOU LOST TODOROKI IN CANADA!?”

Izuku came back for two and a half things; to visit Nezu and fulfill his promise, to go back to Granny’s to have one of the heavenly apple tarts, and maybe, maybe scope out the latest fashion trends. They have no idea how they ended up saving all of Japan from a danger right under their noses.

Emery gave him another smile that made his heart skip a beat—before he realized it wasn’t just skipping a beat, it was actually starting to speed up. And not because of the alluring magician next to him.
A sudden shock went through them both, momentarily disorienting them before the information got through to their heads. They’d been detected.
“Em—” Amari reached out to grab his hand, since he was the one with better reflexes; but for once Emery beat him to the punch, frantically grabbing his wrist and yanking him towards a locker.
