Summary
Will Graham is looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing vacation with his girlfriend Molly at a luxurious ski resort. Little does he expect to run into his ex-husband, Hannibal Lecter, who is staying at the same resort with his own companion, Alana Bloom. Will thought he left his love for Hannibal -- secretly the brutal Chesapeake Ripper -- deep in his abandoned past as an FBI profiler, but as Christmas magic fills the air and Hannibal begins working his charm to the hilt to try and win his ex's heart again...perhaps Will is not quite so over Hannibal, after all.

“You’re flushed, and your eyes are dilated,” he said with some interest, closing the door to the waiting room before moving to take his own seat across from where Will was currently slumped. Hannibal sat down and crossed his ankle over his knee, watching as Will tried to regain control of his emotions. His face held mild curiosity and concern, and Will struggled to keep his eyes from meeting the maroon and gold gaze that was trying to catch his glance. They sat in silence for many minutes before Will began to speak.
“Tonight was a bad idea. I should just go home. I’m not really in the mood to talk.”
Will can't get the dream he had out of his mind. When left alone in Hannibal's office, what trouble can he get himself into?

Summary
Though Will has committed himself to Hannibal after killing Dolarhyde, he finds himself still reconciling with his romantic (and physical) feelings. Now runaways in Uruguay, Hannibal constructs a series of therapy sessions to help Will release his inhibitions.
(An interpretation in which the "fall" is metaphorical for Will submitting himself to Hannibal. Otherwise, canon-compliant.)
