    “Doctor Kirishima? Are you okay? You've been staring at the creature for a while.” One of the base security guards, Iida, asked almost stiffly.

    Eijirou turned quickly, tearing his eyes away from the sterile white room beyond the glass, tearing them away from its occupant. “Of course, Iida. I'm just…fascinated…” he trailed away as he looked back, as though his eyes had a mind of their own.
