“Who the hell was that?” I laugh, nervously. I rub the back of my neck and cringe when I find my hairline damp with sweat. “My goodness.” What a way to start my first day at the mansion, I cringe. I can't wait to see what sort of social and emotional damage I'll take tomorrow.
“You got the worst of them out of the way, at least. That’s Wesker. Dr. Albert Wesker.” She smirks. “Handsome, obviously.”
“An understatement.” I whisper.
Sally nods, “A complete sex-machine. Unfortunately, he’s also a total asshole.”
I grin, eyeing Sally. “You know that from experience?”
“That he’s an asshole?” Sally wraps my arm around hers and leads me towards the breakroom. “Yeah. Everybody’s had that experience. That he’s a sex machine? Only through the grapevine. There are a few others down there that know what they’re doing but him?" I steal one last glance at Wesker, fair-haired and too tall for his own good, standing at the elevator. He glares at the metal doors as if they’ve been put there as a personal affront to him. I can see why he’d be tempting. I can also see why he’d be avoided. Sally’s laugh brings me back to the moment. “I wouldn’t touch that with a ten-foot pole.”
