It'd just been an observation, too. Not unkind, not even clinical or detached. Spoken pretty carefully, actually, almost soft. Some street kid, peaking out from her hiding spot a few feet below. Jason'd been leaning against a wall, clutching his bleeding side, up on the fire escape towards his (now compromised) safehouse. Batman's growling still rang in his ear. Somehow, Nightwing's "B, come on, this is a waste of time," was worse.

Summary
