Whumptober '25
Day 1: GunshotKevin hits the ground, landing hard on his knees as he doubled over. God, fuck he could feel it now. The epicenter of the pain was his lower gut, a spot that was more scar tissue than skin, which might explain part of the delay. There was a smaller pain in his side, but he can't do much thinking past the pain in his stomach, and what Riko had once told him about how he read that a stomach injury hurts as bad as it does because the stomach acid starts eating at the edges of the wound. And then he had of course put a knife in Kevin's gut to test it.

Summary
It’s been a little over a month since Diluc returned to Mondstadt, and rumors of a mysterious Darknight Hero started to spread. He isn’t fond of the title, but Diluc’s found a way to serve Mond on his own terms, and he isn’t going to let go of it just yet. When the Knights of Favonius are eerily quiet after a group of adventurers go missing in Dragonspine, Diluc resolves to climb the storming mountain and find them himself.
But nothing goes to plan. As he runs into the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger while searching the mountain, Diluc is confronted with the revenge he thought he gave up, and begins to question if this whole Darknight Hero business is flawed to begin with.

Summary
The hand not in his hair slips to the small of Jean’s back to press his pelvis closer. Jean lets it happen; if Kevin can get a semi-erection against Jean, then Jean can repay the favor. Kevin sighs, breath hitting Jean’s collarbone.
“You’re actually getting the hang of this.”
“That is not something to be proud of,” Jean says.
“I beg to differ. It’s hot.”
Jean’s jaw drops. He gapes at the Queen, unsure of anything he can say in response. Kevin smiles, fox-like but genuine, eyes crinkling at the edges.

AKA: Kevin ropes Jean into dancing with him at Eden’s Twilight. It devolves straight into banter and thigh-riding.

Summary
I think I have known what I need to do for a while now. I’ve just been too much of a coward to do it. But if there’s anything I’ve learnt from you and Neil—and from the rest of the Foxes too, really—it’s that at some point, you have to take a stand. [something is scratched out] So I hope you will see this, rightly, as me finally taking a stand.
or, Kevin Day sends some letters.

Ailleurs - French - "elsewhere"
It’s strange, he thinks, that there are other people with other lives and that all around him people are having experiences so different from his own. In the Nest everything is uniform. They sleep and train and sleep and train again. There is no room for anything else. But out here amid the light and sound and color, mysteries are allowed to proliferate and beauty is allowed to grow and take form. Jean is one of those mysteries, an unknowable dark and fathomless other and Kevin’s curiosity is burning him alive.
Or: Kevin and Riko are in the UK filming a travelogue to promote the inaugural Exy World Cup. Outside of the Nest things get complicated.
Meanwhile, Jean Moreau is putting a plan in motion.Series
