Lieutenant Vi "Viper" Vanderson grew up with flight practically in her veins and the stars fed to her for breakfast. Summary
Just like that, Vi is out of Stillwater. They had practically thrown her out. Her five year sentence, gone in a blink. And now her on the streets. She could starve, get murdered, or meet the fun fate of slowly being poisoned by the toxins that inhabit everything in the Undercity. How had the five years passed, when every day in that place was a long, slow drag through molasses? How had the five years passed for her sister, who Vi had abandoned?
Powder has to be out there, somewhere. Vi has to find her. But how the hell is she supposed to do that?
