Yeonjun glances at the single door in the dark alleyway. “I-I don't know...”
“Ramen, my treat. There's a really cool place around the corner,” Soobin suggests, gesturing toward the direction of the ramen shop.
Yeonjun picks at his sleeves. “I don't think you'd want to be seen with me in public, little bunny.”
Soobin's face creases with confusion until the problem dawns on him. “Oh. Well—Well, we can eat at my place, if you're uncomfortable about that.”
Yeonjun giggles. “I didn't think you're that type of person, Soobin. I'm sorry, I only get paid in cash.”
The slip-up also takes a minute to make sense for Soobin. “No! No, no, no. I didn't—I-I mean, not that I wouldn't. But—But that's not what I—”
Or, two ships in the night slowly meet.

“If I had my way, I’d book us a hotel room for the night and get us back before the others wake up in the morning,” Heeseung says. He steps closer into Jongseong’s space, dropping his hand and cupping his cheek instead, looking deep into his eyes. “We’d have a whole night together with nobody to disturb us and nothing to do tomorrow. We could take our time and nothing would matter except for us.”
Usually Jongseong would overthink things, doing his best to be more cautious. But there’s something about Heeseung that makes taking risks worth it. “Well… This could be our only chance for a while. And we have a lot of lost time to make up for.”
“Okay,” Heeseung says. He strokes Jongseong’s cheek with his thumb. “I’m serious. Give me the word and I’ll call the nearest hotel right now.”
[After time spent apart, Jay and Heeseung have their first times together.]
