Summary
The woman stops her pacing, setting her pale and unevenly-coloured eyes on Kara, and in that moment Kara understands - for the very first time - how Helen of Troy’s face could have been beautiful enough to start a war.
“Enough. I’m tired of being passed from one person to the next. Tell me,” the woman says fiercely after Kara has been quiet for too long. “Who are you?”
“I’m, um,” Kara says, wiggling her feet until they’re buried in the sand up to the ankle. “I’m Kara.”
The woman stares at Kara, incredulous and silent. It stretches out between them, those lingering questions and Kara’s unwillingness to answer them, until finally her shoulders sink and she deflates with a small, disbelieving laugh.
“Right. Well, I’m Lena,” she says, finally seeming to realize her dress is torn and pulling it tighter, "and if you don’t mean me harm, then I suppose you just saved me.”

Kara’s pod crash happens in 6th century Greece, and she grows up eager to be like the heroes whose myths comforted her in the wake of Krypton’s destruction. But when she accidentally reveals her powers and the world views her as a demigod, Kara begins to understand just how dangerous that can be.

Summary
''I'm not unhappy, Kara.'' Lena breaks the silence after a while of Kara just looking at her and her staring at the leaf-covered sky.
''I didn't say anything.'' Kara replies, her eyes not leaving Lena.
''You don't have to. I can see how you look at me.''
''How do I look at you ?'' [...]
''Like I'm not as happy as the woman in the framed picture.'' She states, this time, looking at Kara.
Kara only looks at her, not really knowing what to say. Like Lena said earlier, this kind of pictures are meant to look like happy family portraits, but Kara knows she was actually as happy as the picture made it look when she took one with the Danvers.
Kara shrugs, ''Maybe, you could just change the picture.''
OR, In the need of a place to stay in National City, Kara finds herself staying at James Olsen and Lena Luthor's house, watching over their kids in exchange of their spare bedroom. And Kara quickly realises the family isn't as happy as their framed pictures let on.
OR OR, Lena is in an unhappy relashionship and Kara is the new Nanny.

Summary
It’s a happiness like Kara has never felt, knowing she’s successfully pulled off their ruse and bumbled her way into her first tournament. She’s full of restless energy, so buoyant that she’s sure she could fly, and she spurs her horse onwards through the crowd, reveling in the joyous squalor of the city. It reminds her of home. Of London, the tiny hovel in the cheapest part of the city where Eliza worked her fingers to the bone as a healer to support the family.
