Summary
Set at the end of Season 1/beginning of Season 2 of Transformers: Prime
Before the war, Megatronus and Orion Pax had completed the first three acts of the Conjunxing Rites: intimacy, disclosure, and proffering. This left the act of devotion, which they would complete after Megatronus attended the Council in search of Primehood and they could officially begin their journey to change Cybertron together-- a future that would never come to pass.
Millions of years later, when Megatron, leader of the Decepticons, takes an amnesic Optimus Prime (“Orion Pax”) back to the Nemesis, Orion questions him about the end of the ritual and whether they can pick up where they’d left off now that they were brought back together.

Summary
When Optimus catches the plague of a distant past, there is only one person who knows the cure, and that is the tyrannical warlord, Megatron himself. Unfortunately for the Autobots, the only way to find it is to search through Megatron's sick and twisted mind, but when Bumblebee resolves to find the cure and save Optimus from his fate, he finds that everything in Megatron's mind is not quite what he expected.
