“Oh, absolutely,” Satoru looked incredibly pleased with himself. From anyone else, his manner might come off as annoying, but somehow, it made him seem more charming. He caught your eyes directly, impossibly deep and blue and like he could see right through you and- “But especially when that extremely beautiful person trips as soon as they lay eyes on me.”
Ah. Shit.
“I had to come over and make sure you hadn't fallen for me.” A wicked smirk this time- at your expense, to be sure, but his eyes on you stayed playful, hungry.
