“No, someone we don’t know,” Avid said, and now Legundo could see the genuine worry in Avid’s eyes. “Pearl and Pyro ran into him when they were on their way to town— over by the tower, in the middle of the lake,” and already that seemed so long ago, although it was only the day before. “He was cutting down the tree, and uh. I don’t know, isn’t that weird?” Avid asked, his voice pitching up plaintively on the end under Legundo’s silent regard.

Summary
All Owen wants to do is rest. After all, Louis only looked at him with pity in his eyes as he was dragged into darkness. But the universe likes to toy with him.
Can he redo all his bad deeds? Can he end up with Louis in heaven? He can only hope.

Summary
After finding a mysterious tome in one of the tombs that says it will "ensnare the human form of a dark beast”, the townsfolk cast it on Scott hoping to turn him human and destabilize the castle. They get third life Scott instead.
Or: Oakhurst shows us a lovely example of why you shouldn’t assume things without verifying them first. This will surely not have any lasting consequences in their quest for a cure or general understanding of vampirism.

Summary
Louis' been kicked out of his village, and now walks into the Oakhurst ruin to finish his transition before heading towards the Capital with a brand new identity that matched his comfort.
However, when he arrives and finds quite a few people in the town, it throws a wrench in his plans.
Well, at least, his new roommate seems to be quite kind and understanding. And sure, there's a random guy that keeps staring at him in the street, but what harm could he do? It's not like he's a vampire, or whatever it is the other townsfolk seem to be yelling about...
OR, reincarnated pre-transition Louis walks into Oakhurst and fucks everything up.

Summary
When Legundo died, he didn’t know what to expect. He had been taught tales of heaven and hell; damnation and salvation, but he had always waved them away. Denounced them as stories that were only used by the powerful to manipulate the weak. It was only one story amongst thousands, anyway.
What Legundo hadn’t expected was to wake up back in the forests around Oakhurst.
