The name had Bilbo perked up. He never thought - he knew finding his soulmate was impossible. His Plant was an enormous oak tree, for Eru’s sake! To think that anyone would have such a daft name, even if it could be any variation of the plant: Acorn, Quercus, or even Woody. Just - highly impractical.

Summary
Bilbo and Thorin wake up in each other's bodies which was annoying on its own, but Thorin learns Bilbo's stupid hobbit body is always hungry, and Bilbo doesn't quite know how Thorin gets by with the amount of chronic pain the dwarf body has. Yet somehow they must work through these problems to understand more about the other and hopefully switch their bodies back.

”You’re not making any sense, Thorin”, said Balin and got up from his chair, walking up to Thorin and making him halt his restless movements by putting a steady hand onto his shoulder. “Explain it to me, what did you see in the dream?”
”I saw… I saw the Shire. And I saw Bilbo”Or: Years after Bilbo left the Mountain, Thorin, who’s been hopelessly pining ever since, starts having dreams of him. While he’s dealing with dwarven court drama, the obsession with the dreams starts to consume him until he finds out they’re a lot more than what they seemed at first.
