Summary
With the recent breach of Pandora's Vault, the DSMP's most nefarious criminal, Dream, manages to escape, and has sworn revenge against all who wronged him. That, coupled with the recent return of the Crimson egg, residents of the SMP scramble to protect themselves as Dream launches a bold new plan to regain power over what he deems to be "his." However, the recent "destruction" of Tommy's prized discs have left the tyrant in much need of a new method of control. As tensions heat up, lines are soon drawn, and people all across the server soon find themselves choosing sides. And in the center of it all, is a young 15-year old human-spider hybrid named Shroud.
(Author's Note: This story aims to be a narrative retelling for the events of the Dream SMP. In order to provide a coherent story to follow, the timeline of the recent lore has been stretched out over a longer period, and several events and details have been rearranged, as well as new characters will be added. This story will not change the overall canon, rather it will attempt to enhance it.
The fiction will have two parts; the first taking place soon after the prison break event, and the second will be written once the main lore is back underway.
