Gojo traces over his clenched jaw, fingertips light as air, and then his lips start to curl at the corners with something that looks a lot like mischief. “Alright, Yuuji. If you’re oh so eager to run away, why don’t we play a little game instead?”
He eyes the curve of Gojo’s smile, fully formed now, razor sharp and sly. “What—” His voice catches on a sudden lump in his throat. “What kind of game?”
“Tag. I’m it. You run.” So quick Yuuji almost misses it, a flash of tongue runs over gleaming alpha fangs. “Make it to your nest from here without getting caught, and I’ll let you off the hook.”
There are two pieces of advice that everyone in the world understands:
First, don’t intrude on an omega’s nest unless you’re looking to get your face clawed off.
And second, don’t bed down in an alpha’s den unless you’re okay with waking up on a knot.

Yuji notices Ozawa fidgets in nervousness and her face blushes even more.
Ah…he gets it. She must be thinking he is lonely by himself when everyone else gathers with their family or their loved ones on Christmas Eve, but feeling too bad to say it directly hence the nervousness.
He appreciates the gesture though. He doesn’t expect his old classmate to be this kind and thoughtful to him even after not meeting for a while.
“There are still a few things I need to buy. Thank you for the offer, though, Ozawa, but that’s okay. I’d hate to impose on your family time. Besides, my guardian is waiting for me at home now so I’m not alone.”
Ozawa widens her eyes, surprise etches clear on her visage.
“Guardian…?”
“Yeah,” he can’t help but smile sheepishly, “He’s from Tokyo. There were a lot of things happened but currently, he’s staying with me at Jiichan’s.”
