“Sylvain,” Felix swallows, then says, just a little too loudly, “Sylvain and I have been looking for the boar.”
Mercie, Ashe, and, finally, Sylvain all turn to look at him. Sylvain giggles, out of place and tight.
“No need to yell about it, Felix,” he says.
And that’s all it takes. Felix squeezes too hard on his spoon, the pewter bending in his hand. Of all the things that Sylvain could say to him, after all they have shared in the past few months, the first time he opens his mouth to speak to Felix since they arrived at the monastery, it’s to tell him off.
In which Felix is jealous, Sylvain is oblivious, and much fun is had when he finds out.

For some reason Dimitri laughs when Felix tells him as much.Felix always said that nothing good could come from holiday cheer. What was supposed to be a short dinner party of close friends, quickly turns sour as a blizzard tears through the region, trapping him and his guests in his shitty, poorly stocked apartment for the next three days. In a desperate bid to not die, Felix agrees to beg his obnoxiously hot red head occupant of Apartment A for supplies. Apartment A is an asshole. Apartment A sucks. Apartment A does not make Felix's heart flutter, not even a little bit.

The first glimpse of the castle brought them to a halt. Hogwarts had been badly damaged by the battle. Harry could remember the building collapsed in pieces all around them. Significant repairs had been made in the intervening months but it still bore scars. Most of the walls had been restored but large chunks were still missing and the work that was completed seemed to have been done with more haste than care in places. It was obvious where the stone was new. Ron must have been having similar thoughts because he broke the silence. “It looks a right mess. Do you reckon they let Filch oversee the repairs?” The last attempt at a joke half-hearted.
Hermoine, answered seriously though. “I wonder if it was deliberate?”
“Why would the deliberately repair it badly?” Harry wasn’t sure if it was disbelief or anger coloring his voice. He hated seeing the castle like this.
