Summary
As heroes across the nation suddenly turn violent, the trust in hero society crumbles.
Ground Zero, the latest pro-hero to snap and kill, is the only surviving suspect of all past incidents. The public says Bakugou’s guilty. Shinsou isn’t so sure. But as his handler, he's the only one close enough to find the truth—assuming they don’t destroy each other first.
Or a story of everything going wrong, and two people who keep reaching for each other anyway.
“Open it,” Shinsou handed over the box and stepped back, his gaze flicking to Bakugou’s face. He wasn’t sure what to expect—gratitude, aggression, or something in between—but he braced himself for the inevitable reaction.
Bakugou stared at him a moment longer, then cracked the lid. His frown dropped, lips parting slightly.
Surprise. Confusion. Suspicion.
“Who told you?” Bakugou demanded, voice cutting like a blade.
“I have eyes.”
Bakugou’s hands, usually so steady, trembled slightly as he lifted the hearing aids from the box. His fist closed around them, tension radiating off him in waves. For a moment, Shinsou thought he might crush them.

And yet, Shinsou keeps seeing him. On patrol. Off duty. In places no one should be unless they’re following someone else.
It’s probably nothing.

But Bakugou moves like a stormfront, fast, loud, impossible to ignore, and the more Shinsou watches him, the harder it is to pretend he's not being pulled into the weather.
