Summary
Xie Lian wasn’t sure how it started, just that she didn’t want it to end. All her stories ended—started off terribly, ended the same way—but this one was the most sweet, and the only one worth keeping. What did it matter if San Lang was actually a supposedly violent ghost king? Her kisses weren’t nearly as violent, and it wasn’t as if Xie Lian could break from their teeth clicking together like madmen. If they were so mad, then surely they would just be men to match. As long as it didn’t end, she didn’t care!
(or: a banished god, a ghost king hiding in plain sight, a cottage in the middle of nowhere, and a revelation about the ghost king’s lips.)
