For as many years as he could remember, Kiyoomi was a lonely merman. He defended his turf, hunted as much as he wanted, and shared the space with a sperm whale living right next to his lair, inside the trench no creature dared enter. This life of his was good.
But Kiyoomi grew bored of it.
Just when the alpha came to terms with his less than interesting existence among the depths of the ocean, fate gave him a key to blissful freedom he silently desired.
How ironic however, that this very key could no longer swim.
