Most of the time, it's simple research quests for people who have too much money on their hands. Noel may lack any legitimate qualifications but that's not a problem in a town where there's no real criminal cases to be involved in; when Misha Bachynskyi gets convicted of a crime after having too much to drink at a party, it's the most interesting thing that's happened in years. And Misha's punishment is choir.
The worst part is, Misha is swearing to anyone who will listen that he was framed.

Summary
Everyone knows the Radio Demon is a cruel, heartless man who cares for no one. Alastor prides himself on this very fact, which is why it surprises him terribly so as to the lengths he'll go through to rescue Niffty. Two weeks after the extermination, Niffty is captured by the enemy.
Vox uses Niffty to lure the ever elusive Radio Demon into his grasp. Left with no other choice, Alastor must comply with Vox's demands and realizes that perhaps, he still has a little bit of humanity left in him.
