Summary
In the wake of what was supposed to be the end of the world, Xolisile Aldwir and Lucanis Dellamorte have somehow survived the greatest odds they’ve ever faced, though not without grief and hardship to accompany them. As a reward to themselves, they retreat to what should be an exquisite holiday in recently troubled Treviso’s Villa Dellamorte.
Unfortunately for Lucanis, his grandmother, Caterina, may have conceded her position as First Talon to her favoured grandson, but that doesn’t mean she has any less of a voice in the goings-on of the Crows and, in particular, Villa Dellamorte.
