Here his eyes flickered from Franky’s curly hair to his feet, clad in polished brown oxfords. Yeah, Franky knew he was short. How else was he going to pass as an elf?
“—including the business acumen to help our operation turn more of a profit than previous years. I’ll just need to speak with your references and do a background check before I can officially hire you.”
“Understood, sir! I’ll wait for your phone call!” Franky grinned good-naturedly as he shook the man’s hand.

It's almost Christmas and Franky is low on cash. On a visit to the mall, he spots a golden opportunity for multiple income streams and doesn't let it pass him by.

“Maybe Dom should ask Loid for tips,” Millie piped up, a mischievous sparkle in her eye. “He’s always taking you on romantic dates and vacations even now, he probably made a huge list of ideas before he proposed to you.”
“Come on Millie, I don’t want leftover ideas from Mr. Perfect!”
Yor tensed again as that dreaded nickname came up. It was always a sign the conversation would soon turn against her in the most embarrassing of ways. There was also the fact that Loid had never actually come up with such a list, unbeknownst to her coworkers. Yor was the one who had proposed, completely on a whim.
“How did he propose to you, Yor?” Millie asked. “I don’t think you ever told us.”
