Imagine a dystopian world Jinwoo finds after he defeats the Monarchs, he left his homeworld as he no longer had anyone that mattered there worth staying, and he's dragging trouble to his homeworld's doorstep anyway, so he left for a new place, and the Shadow Monarch realizes, hey, if I can't blind them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.
And then becomes a mailman.

Summary
I have been OBSESSING with the idea of, what if red gates aren't sealed off but still have time dilation and what would happen then and then this story just spiraled outta control and I'm here for the ride as much as you are.
ALSO given that the rulers are doing things differently, the Kamish calamity wasn't as bad as it was in canon and a ton of refugees from the US have scattered around the world in the wake of the fall of the US in regards to how California got rekted by dragonfire. So we do get a lot more ethnic diversity as a chunk of Korean diaspora (which includes mixed race people with some Korean blood) from the US decided to go to Korea.
Main reasons that the Kamish calamity isn't so bad, one, the Kamish calamity is a lot more recent, which means, more S-ranks were there than in canon and those S-ranks were also a bit more battle experienced as well, which helped out a ton, and two, they had Kamish to a degree limited until the end, to which he got a 'second wind' and then fought uninhibited, but was still badly injured so the humans had managed to take him down, abet, with plenty of losses. But it's not the way it happened in canon.

Danny patches up an injured Valerie, much to her complaint.

It’s not much of a fight. Valerie, half-lucid, and Phantom with super strength. Still, she resists, fightfully squirming and resisting his attempts. They roll around, a jumbled mess of uncoordinated limbs and disheveled hair.
Danny, with his back now on her bed, clamps his legs around her middle, holding her in place. She hisses at his icy touch, but continues to thrash, pounding her fists against his legs. “Let me go!” she screeches, trying to scratch him through his suit. Is it possible to claw his eyes out?
Her hair obscures his face and he has to crane his neck to glare down at her. They are so impossibly close. So close it makes his brain dizzy. If he acknowledges it any further, he thinks he’ll explode. “I don’t want to hurt you, so just stay still!”
She snarls, “Rot in hell, crap face!” and elbows him in the nose.
