It wasn’t the first time.
Every time Mingi was sent to him—whether for a cut, a bruise, or the occasional split lip—this same tension followed. It clung to the air between them, thick and suffocating, like gunpowder before the spark. Yeosang had ignored it before, dismissed the way Mingi held eye contact a little too long, the way his fingers brushed Yeosang’s wrist just a second too late when taking supplies from him.
But tonight, Mingi wasn’t bothering to be subtle.
