Summary
Albus Dumbledore was a manipulative old coot and Harry Potter is just sad he didn't realise it sooner, so he could have hung the man by his beard himself.
With the Daily Prophet slandering Harry's name once again - calling him the next Dark Lord of all things! - Harry sets out to find a new purpose for his life. He no longer wishes to be an auror and he wishes to go somewhere else, to a place where no one knows the name 'Harry Potter.' He no longer sees himself with Ginny - having messy, red-haired children. Instead, Harry finds himself a new purpose within his old purpose and sets off to 1944. Unfortunately, he may have gotten the timing a little off. No biggie! He'll make new plans as he goes along. Summary
After the war, Harry became the Master of Death, and also very, very pissed off at the world.
For one, Dumbledore manipulated him his entire life.
For two, Dumbledore also manipulated Tom Riddle and created Voldemort all in his manic need to rid the world of dark magic.
Harry tried to live a happy life for a while, but with being stuck at seventeen, he ended up having to watch as his friends and family grew old and died.
After a long time, Harry grew numb, and after many, many years and deaths later, Death made an offer to Harry. If he could change things, would he?
Harry decides that yes, he would. And so, in the year 1941, Hieronymus “Harry” Peverell shows up to start his fourth year at Hogwarts.
