Summary
Go Hyuntak is about to fail the school year, and if he fails, he loses his spot on Eunjang’s basketball team. For him that would be the end of the only thing he has left after his taekwondo career fell apart. He needs basketball, and he knows it.
Desperate to help him, Hyuntak’s mom contacts Ganghak High School. Ganghak offers a spot with scholarship for Hyuntak only if he joins their basketball team, for his mom it sounds perfect.
To Hyuntak, it sounds like a nightmare.Changing schools is already bad… but going to Seongje’s school? The pearson he hates more than anyone. He refuses, argues it. But Eunjang can’t help him, and his mother won’t take no for an answer.
In the end, he’s left with his only option, transfer to Ganghak.

His heartbeat is calming and soothing, just radiates kindness with each beat, feels like he’s listening to a lullaby.
It’s honestly the kindest sound he’s ever heard.
Tanjiro’s pretty eyes and his kind heart are more than enough for Zenitsu to find himself falling fast, despite all logic telling him this is a bad idea.

The newest Hashira was an oddity and a mystery. Only a few years older than Muichiro, but seemingly so much more a child. Loud and displeasing to the ear, crying and wailing constantly, Giyuu didn’t understand how a coward such as Agatsuma Zenitsu could have ever reached a rank such as theirs, particularly without even so much as a shred of evidence regarding his skill.
It was one of the very few things he and the other Hashira distinctly agreed upon. The boy did not belong. He was unfit to be a slayer, a protector. The boy was a liability, and now, every day he would disappear, up into the mountains of the prefecture they were in, in the middle of winter with Demons supposedly about.
