Jouno opened his mouth before softly declaring, “If you can find me here tomorrow night…we’ll meet again.”
“You will see me again tomorrow then, Jouno.”
“I wish not to, Tecchou.”
Tecchou softly chuckled, he stood up, brushing the dirt off of his clothes, “Goodbye for now, Jouno.”

Summary
Here, you bear witness to an ever odd sight, a tale never to be written in scripture. One recalling that of a clandestine meeting between two gods, one of justice, the other of cruelty, sitting atop their heavenly perch in the darkness before dawn. One exuding a golden glow, sure to bleed pure, divine ichor; the other a constant ebb of chthonic flames and sparks. Tecchou, totem of justice, merely watched as Jouno, clad in his red and grey robes, descended downwards, settling himself beside Tecchou on the floating pillar of Earth, a place shrouded from the watchful eyes that litter Takamagahara.
"Hah, seems nothing has changed since our last meeting a couple decades ago,” Jouno sneered. With a sigh he continued, “Same as always, aren't you? How boring.”

Summary
Tecchou does a lot of things for Jouno. Little things to make his (work) partner's life easier.
He made sure to somewhat soundproof their apartment, buying furniture and fabrics that Jouno didn't hate, putting tape on documents that didn't have time to be translated into braille so Jouno could sign where he needed to. He even bought little braille stickers to put on the spines of Jouno's books so he could easily know which was which.
Of course, Jouno's birthday is no exception to his thoughtfulness.

Their lives are stressful, yet there are few ways to release everything they bottle up. They can’t show emotions in public, can’t show weakness, can’t break the image. They can’t express their frustrations on those who are to blame for their failures — it’s often themselves — and it only makes sense for them to make a deal.
They hurt each other, and it motivates them to go further every time. Pantalone’s words cut into Dottore’s soul, leaving wounds he knows won’t heal for a while. Pantalone knows what to say, and thrives on the pain it brings the Doctor. Dottore doesn’t stop him. It’s in the deal. He takes it out on the Regrator when he can’t keep it inside anymore, leaving scratches and bruises on the banker’s sensitive skin.
Over and over. It’s their unique way to deal with stress, and it satisfies them both. -

As he pauses in front of the door, the sign clearly reading: “IL DOTTORE”, Pantalone ponders if he should pretend as if he cared about the madman potentially inside. Running his gloved fingers through his hair, he releases a huff as he gently knocks his knuckles against the door. “Doctor, it’s Regrator.”
As he expected, there was no reply.
Debating on leaving to bury himself in his paperwork, Pantalone frustratingly sighs as he places his hand on the doorknob, slightly surprised to see the door unlocked. Usually, Dottore was highly stern about having his door closed and locked shut while he was inside. “How annoying,” he mutters to himself, searching for the madman of a Doctor that he knew was inside.
