Summary
Dr. Ivy Woods has had a rough couple of years. After being forced into an honorary discharge from the army, where she served alongside Dr. Owen Hunt, Ivy made her escape to the rainy city of Seattle. She made friends there, and memories, until a ghost from her past appeared and landed himself a job as the Head of Trauma. As her boss.
And Ivy put up with it, until everything went to shit and a psychopath shot up the hospital.
Now, Ivy wanted nothing more than to get out of Seattle, so when a position as Head of Trauma opened up at a hospital in Washington, Virginia, she jumped at it. In a new city and a new job, Ivy had a chance for a fresh start. To form new bonds, explore relationships, and to hopefully not get caught in any more horrible disasters.
But out of everything Ivy wanted from her new adventure, the last thing she expected was to fall in love.

But then Lyanna disappears, and Brandon is killed, and Catelyn is wed to a Baratheon and taken across the continent from Alyssandra. Then Ned comes home with a baby, and well, she can't be mad a baby, can she? And her husband is such a good man. She'll probably forgive him.
Catelyn, having been hustled off to Storm's End, spends a year trying to warm her husband's heart and eating rats, then spends many years navigating Robert and Cersei. A lot of pettiness ensues.
AKA What if Ned had a wife he chose and she actually forgave him and loved Jon as her own son, and what if Stannis had a wife he actually liked?
