Summary
Sometimes, all you can do is survive. All you can do is keep going. Sometimes, all you have is the clothes on your back, your Lil' small fry, and your name. Sometimes these things can be taken from you.

Another summary, lol:You know that trope where everyone is cheering because they finally beat the final boss and then they look over at Character A to ask why they aren’t celebrating just for them to fall to their knees and start to bleed out because they got grievously injured in the last battle? Yeah, this is that fic.

Summary
Harry Potter is wandering around London, trying to decide what to get Hermione for her birthday when he spies a bookstore and decides to take a look around. The owner seems a bit flustered and it makes Harry wonder if the muggle actually knows who he is. If that’s the case, Harry keeps to himself and keeps a distance.
On the other side of the shop, an Angel flips the fuck out over the Master of Death being in his shop, and even worse, trying to buy one of his books.

Because, you know, tiny mute autistic eight-year-olds are TOTALLY adept at taking care of themselves.
Kind of a stand-alone from Already/Basics stories. Same characters, different what-if scenario.

Summary
Jason didn’t know when it started. If he thought about it, he remembered the bright light that surrounded his mom in her last days. After that, he noticed the way some people lit up, outlined in a growing brightness that emitted from the edges of their beings. The brighter the individual, the closer they were to death.
At the parties that Bruce insisted on dragging him to, he expected the dim light from the tired old businessmen who drank too much and were limping closer to their ends, glowing a little more every time Jason saw them.
What he did not expect was for the 12-year-old neighbor kid to light up like a damn Christmas tree the second Jason laid his eyes on him.

Summary
“We’re supposed to be partners,” Tim insists, as if he has any business telling off the man towering over him now. “If it were Dick or Jason telling you to—”
Bruce suddenly turns on Tim and snarls, “Don’t you dare try to compare yourself to them.” He jabs a finger at Tim. “Don’t ever act like you are anywhere near on the same level as they are. You haven’t earned the right. You’re nothing like Jason. You’re nothing like Dick. You’re just you.”
—
Bruce isn’t acting like himself. Tim is beginning to think that he may be the problem.

Summary
It sucked that Tim couldn't trust his family. They had either been his abusers or bystanders, but even when he tried to take himself off their hands, they clung to him like a sticky residue. Trapped, he felt like a mouse beneath a cat's paw, and he knew the only escape would be a clean-cut break with no room for interpretion.
Somehow, they made room for interpretation.
“Bruce,” Tim rasped, his discarded Red Robin suit a thousand pound weight in his hands, clean and ready to go in its case. “You don’t even *like* me.”
The truth dangled between them like a spider’s web clinging to separate walls. To no one’s shock, Batman said nothing. The only sounds in the cave were the shuffling of bats and Tim’s bike rumbling softly at the entrance, waiting patiently for him to make his escape.
