He stared at the rubble with an empty expression she’d never seen on him, and she wasn’t going to go to him, of course not, she was trying to find Ron and Harry and Luna and all her friends, but when Narcissa draped her arm over Draco’s shoulder, she felt that she had wanted to grab his arm and pull him somewhere else.

The characterisation feels so genuine, the trio interactions are top tier, Ron retains his good qualities, the ultimate motivations are very true to life where (mild spoilers) you can’t know what’s going on in a twisted person’s mind. -
