Summary
The last thing Link remembered: he went to bed an ordinary 6-year-old in his family home in Castle Town.
He woke up a 6-year-old in a world 112 years older than him, where the Calamity had already hit and then recently been defeated... by himself? He didn't know what happened, or how, or why. Luckily, he had eight heroes with weird nicknames on his side, there to help him figure out and fix whatever was going on, one age at a time—and gradually heal his childhood wounds in the process.
Or: my take on the kid!Wild and Wild-meets-the-Chain tropes, with a bit of a twist in that he is mentally a child as well—memories included.

Summary
The eldest, the most mythicized of them all, Time will have to watch his journey from when he was a child and have to face the consequences of his actions, no matter how noble they had seemed at the time, and will see an old friend. The others get to see their leader as hylian, just like them and can in fact, be hurt, and make mistakes. Including the one that has haunted majority of them throughout time.

Summary
Link doesn’t sleep.
He almost never does. He never rests his eyes, or takes a nap. He is never fully rested, never free of the dark circles that lie below his eyes.
Sometimes, his lack of sleep is manageable. Others, it’s . . . dangerous, to say the least.
And when Link finds a strange, massive wolf, he does his best. Even if the ground is starting to sway. And for a long while, he couldn't figure out if the wolf was real, or a lie.
. . . He was scared to find out.
Then the strange travelers came out of nowhere. That was when everything went wrong, Link supposed. They nearly killed him, too. Although, that was partly his fault.
And yet, Link doesn’t sleep. And he never would, if he had a say about it.
Screw the consequences.

Summary
Hylia has needed Her Heroes from the very beginning. Pulling them across time, space, and universe, they meet at their weakest to become stronger than ever. They just wish they'd be given a moment to breathe.
Hurt, grieving, fragile, Courage needs itself to be strong again. To keep going. Too bad the Heroes disagree and would rather be home.

Ch 5, Red is Link from the 10,000 years ago tapestry in BOTW, not a cat, just a hylian with red hair. Time and Malon are the first of the line. Not sure where Twilight fits in, but is before Red's grandfather, they have a tapestry of their own that goes back generations to Time and Malon, but it's fabled that the Hero of the Skies exists and he returns the hylians to the land of hyrule, but he's also supposedly the one who is the Legendary Hero who came from the sky and gifted the sheikah the original model that would be blueprints for the Sheikah Slate's creation. So Red is unsure of his history with Wild.

Summary
In Hyrule, there was a rumor spreading about a so-called “Witch of the Wilds”.
The stories vary, as legends tend to. Some said that the Witch of the Wilds was a malevolent force, causing mischief and misfortune for anyone unlucky enough to catch their eye. Some said the woods witch was merely a roaming spirit, uncaring of humanity unless they made a move on their territory. Others believed the witch was a blessing from Hylia herself, a light sent down as recompense for the Great Calamity and the Upheaval.
Wild thought that he wasn't a witch, a spirit, or a blessing. He was just tired.
---
or,wild accidentally becomes a witch and an urban legend and is kind of over it. and the strange group of travelers that just arrived certainly aren't helping the situation.

Bookmarker's Notes
Ch 5, Wild has major anxiety and is very closed off, Legend has a heart-to-heart. Hyrule, Legend, and Wild are in a forest alone, separated from the others. Monsters attacked. Wild has a panic attack; they go to bed.
