Summary
Kiba and Naruto have a horrible day up in the mountains. Wounds are opened, scars are *re*opened, and the miserable history in their blood is laid bare in the snow. But even with an emotional IQ of forty five combined, they'll always find a way to forgive each other. And be stupid and horny about it.

Kenny reminds Butters of a goldfish, mostly because he's charming and bright-colored. And also because he just keeps on dying in horrific ways: like the time Butters found his at the bottom of the bowl, broken insides on the wrong side of its pretty golden skin.
Or, Butters has seen Kenny die every day since kindergarten. -

Summary
He backs away from me, his eyes wide with betrayal.
"You're a... All this time you've..." Shang shakes his head. His voice is unbelievably fragile. "Gods, Ping, you're a girl?" he murmurs.
I let out a high, nervous laugh that does nothing to hide my distress. "You seem an awful lot more certain about it than me."Otherwise known as: a very gay interpretation of Reflections, involving Buddhism, bromance, and trying to survive a war while binding.

inexplicably memorable and painful and touching. the first half is sort of hua ping x best friend OC wei Zhang, which would be fine if he had any personality besides being the best friend ever. kind of boring but ping's inner turmoil is interesting. shang is far more appealing. don't have much nice to say and yet cant forget this fic. it sticks. it tugs.

the most beautiful whump to ever whumpit. duster stratosphere. a different flavor from anything else we've read, the combination of absurd show nonsense and meaningful relationships. kevin was nice. amateurish but perfect. definitely odd. 10/10 would whumpit again

Bookmarker's Notes
3:16am on a sick and lazy and hazy sunday, laying in bed after a shower, this fic makes me smile like I'm tearing up. its the same motion reconfigured. realistic and understated and kind. this is a very kind fic. transgender kenny is the most intelligent take I've ever heard in my life. blew my mind. stan is my loser boy, and hers too. the pronoun shift was effortless. the lowercase writing style is e.e. cummings at his finest. this fic is exactly what being high in a good way is like; gentle shimmering mundanity of company and comfort. sincere expression.
