The reality however is completely different.'
A short one-shot originally meant as a prologue for a longer story about someone being reborn in the Naruto series.

He threw a newspaper down on the table. Upon impact, it’s pages unfurled, revealing the image plastered on the front. A cowboy and a knight glaring down a towering, hulkish figure surrounded by crowds, flags, and rainbows. A powerful image for many but for Sir Justin, it felt like a death sentence.
“I’ll ask again,” Batman said, leaning forward on the table. “Care to explain?”

It had been a simple mission- apprehend Adrian Chase and return him to prison. Chase was skilled but entirely human, and Batman could easily name twenty people in the League who would be able to bring him in with minimum collateral damage and no lives lost. Vigilante should have never even been considered for the mission.
And yet he'd been the one sent on it.
Or
Vigilante (Greg Saunders) gets sent to arrest Vigilante (Adrian Chase,) and instead they join forces, assassinate a corrupt politician, and burn down his house. Batman has a headache.
