Summary
In a shocking display, the unfamiliar drow began to speak Zemnian: “Entschuldigung, aber mein Zemnisisch ist nicht gut genug für dieses wichtige Gespräch." He took one step closer, in small increments as if approaching a wild animal. “Bren.”
“How-” His throat caught as his heart seized. Fuck. He’d already slipped up. Master Ikithon was going to be furious. “No, you have the wrong-”
“No need to lie.” The elf lifted his palm. His violet eyes caught Bren’s frantic gaze, and he visibly came to a decision. “Bren, you are suffering from acute psychic temporal displacement. I highly suspect it is due to a magical experiment we just performed.”
“Amnesia,” he translated. “You- You’re saying I have amnesia. Memory loss.”
(Bren Ermundrud wakes up twenty years in the future. What he finds is... not what he expected.)

Summary
Regulus was always quite fond of death. So when he was forced into defying the Dark Lord and his parents, he was excited that it would lead to where he meets his end. Even if that meant finally doing what he had feared for so long.
After being neglected of an option to do anything else besides searching for Voldemort’s secret—and finding it—he wound up in a cave that he just knew would be his resting place.
Except it wasn’t.
After achieving the goal, he was forced into death’s grip but then instantly hauled out before he could be relieved.
Waking up in the body of his 11 year old self with a brother that cares for him once more is the exact opposite of what Regulus needed.
He needed death, not another chance.
Or…
Regulus comes to terms with his life and only hopes for a way out. He didn’t however hope for that way to be through time rewinding until he was back to his first day of Hogwarts, completely erasing the past 7 years. Nor did he ever hope to meet James Potter again.

Xiao's free again, but adjusting to a world that has gone on without him comes with its own problems.
"You would have died." Xiao’s voice was sharper now, his golden eyes glowing faintly in the dim light of dusk. Fuck him for being pretty, Chongyun thought. "Do you understand that? If I hadn’t—"
"I would have been fine!" Chongyun shouted. "I would have lived fifty, seventy years, as a human! But that wasn’t enough for you! You decided for me, Xiao. You took away my choice!"

His sons need to be fixed, and in order to do so, he needs to come up with a procedure that'll give them what they've been missing.
