Summary
“Oh, Obito.” Rin breathed, puffing out a bit of frost from the cold air. “It’s beautiful.”
Obito smiled shyly, cradling the precious item in his hands. “You really think so?”
A bright red scarf rested in his hands, with the Uchiha crest at one end.
Rin squealed, clapping her hands excitedly. “Are you kidding? It’s incredible, Obito.” She praised. “With the crest and everything…I can’t wait to see Kakashi wear it!”
Obito gulped at the mention of his teammate.
The Uchiha crest wasn’t just handed out to anyone. And everyone amongst the Uchiha would know instantly that giving the crest to somebody outside of the clan was a courtship gesture.
So yeah, it was a pretty big deal, and no matter how hard Obito tried, he was really, really nervous.
OR: Obito tries to give Kakashi a scarf, but it completely backfires when Kakashi thinks the scarf is for Rin.

Yahiko pressed their lips together and Nagato held his breath.
It only lasted for a second and then Yahiko pulled back sharply, taking a full step back and looking alarmed.
“I’m sorry!” He yelled, hands flailing wildly in front of his face, as though he thought Nagato was going to hit him, as if he ever would. “I didn’t even ask if you wanted to kiss me, I was caught up in the moment, I’m sorry!”
“It’s okay,” Nagato managed, but it came out in a breathy hush.
“I just wanted to see what it was like, you know, kissing someone! And you’re my best friend, so I figured who better to kiss? Oh, man, you must hate me, I took your first kiss and everything!”
The funny thing is: it wasn’t Nagato’s first kiss.
Because Konan had kissed him first.
